About Monica
Hi! My name is Monica Isola, Doctor of Physical Therapy and owner of Restore Her Physical Therapy. I love helping women achieve their goals, whether it's sneezing without leaking, running without pain, or enjoying intimacy without discomfort. My career path didn’t start in pelvic health, but now there’s nothing else I would rather be doing!
Growing up in Maitland, Florida, I went to Bishop Moore High School and then to the University of Florida for undergrad and my Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Following PT school, I completed a one-year residency in Orthopedics and became board certified in Orthopedics. General sports physical therapy was my jam and I loved it. It all changed after I had my first child. My eyes were opened to what happens to women’s bodies during pregnancy and postpartum. This led me to continue my post-professional training to specialize in pelvic health. I have now bridged the two specialities of orthopedics and pelvic health to best treat the whole person.
Outside of Physical Therapy, I love spending time with my family and friends. I’m married to my high school sweetheart, Bobby, and we have two amazing kids Robbie (3) and Nora (1). I love running, lifting weights, baking sourdough bread, cooking with my husband, drinking cappuccinos and wine, reading, and binge watching shows.
